Downtown Sounds started as a small gathering hosted in an alley, turning the underutilized space into something extraordinary. And extraordinary it became. With each year the event grew, now taking up three entire city blocks on Bay, Prospect, and Holly Streets. Downtown Sounds draws bands from across the country and folks from Whatcom County and beyond to share in their love of music. This summer celebrates the 18th year of this beloved, award-winning, urban music experience that is firmly cemented as Downtown Bellingham's hottest summer attraction.
